SWU - Recipe Challenge

As I don't have very much stampin up stash, I'm quite limited to what I can do but I managed to come up with this for the challenge over at Stamp With Us, you only need to use one SU product but never fear I did manage two!...lol It's actually a money wallet although you wouldn't know from the picture...lol and my photo isn't that good but it does look a little bit better in the flesh (really...lol), now I just hope I'm in time to enter it in the challenge!

First Challenge!....

Wow seems like a life time since I last blogged, my how time flies, the boys go back to school in less than 2 weeks and then I will probably start thinking about Christmas...oh no, didn't we just have it!...lol Well at last a card, it's been a couple of weeks since I last did one of those (how sad it that!). I've just made this little beauty for the very first challenge over at Anyone For Anya blogspot and the theme is "Sugar & Spice and All Things Nice" which ment I could be really girly, which I hold my hands up to but alas I was blessed with two boys and beautiful they are too!

Well nearly dinner time and they will eat me if I don't feed them...lol

Back in the land of Blog!!!

Hi Guys, well if the truth be known I got back on Sunday evening and this is the first chance I have had to sit down and post, finally got through all the washing and doing an extra special house clean (it's no fun though!) it's going to be my "40th" birthday on Sunday, so I'm having a big girly night on saturday hense the big house clean, not that anyone will notice but it makes me feel better to know I've washed the paint work and hoovered the curtains...lol I so want to sit and make cards but I can't and it's killing me! Had a great time away, the boys really enjoyed themselves and the rain stayed off too! No pictures though, when we got there the camera had no memory card in, my hubby wasn't amused as he loves taking photo's of the boys but I did laugh!

Well best get back to the cleaning, shall be back soon.....

My First SWU Challenge!

This week over at Stamp With Us they have a Christmas theme and as I don't have that much Stampin Up stash I've not been able to join in before but this time I put my thinking cap on and came up with this, it's not a very good picture, granted, but the real thing doesn't look to bad (truly).
Tomorrow, we are off for a few days away with the boys, going to my parents caravan in Wales, the boys absolutely love it, they get a bit more freedom and just love being outdoors and it's pretty central for all the seaside locations, I know I will miss my blogging in blogland though, I'll have the DT's as they say..lol, well of I go to pack my suitcases, see you in a few days.

Winter Scene...

Think I might be a bit late with this but I shall try anyway. Over at Winter Wonderland this week the theme is Winter Scenes with an optional sketch, so I decided to use the sketch too on my card, I made the winter scene quite a while ago but couldn't decide how to mount it so the sketch came in quite useful. I made the scene using inks and a brayer then stamped the image on top and used stickles and a white sakura gel pen to highlight it. Sorry the pictures not very good:(

Floral Fantasy - Challenge 63

Hi all, well it's a beautiful sunny day here, dare I say, again! It's soooo nice to have a bit of sun for a change. Last week I received a lovely RAK, from Debbie, a lady who I met on the trimcraft site originally and now we are blogging buddies! She sent me a lovely set of Creative Expression rubber stamps and some of the new, lovely nestability die cuts, it was a really lovely surprize and I want to thank you so much Debs for your kindness! Which brings me to this weeks challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar were the theme is Floral Fantasy and as my new stamps are of Sweet Peas they fitted the bill perfectly, so this is my card for this weeks challenge.
