Mothers Day and Prepared!

Well usually it's a last minute job, so this year I am more than ready with my Mothers Day card, in fact I actually made this card about three or four weeks ago which is quite impressive for me (believe me!) It started off as a gift tag but I thought it would be a shame if it got thrown away and I know my mum keeps her cards for inspiration, so that's what it became, her mothers day card as opposed to tag!



This is such a beautiful stamp set(Bliss) and is a shame it's no longer available, it was a Sale-a-bration set. All the products are SU except for the black lace which is from my stash.

Have decided to enter this into the challenge over at Allsorts Blog as the theme they have this week is to make a card for 'a special lady', so this fits the bill perfectly and also Papertake Weekly, their challenge is 'a mom thing'.

Another Challenge Card.

Quick Post and a Challenge.

This is going to be really quick, just watching Comic Relief, it's so sad, I've given what I can just hope it all helps in some small way.

This is my entry for the challenge over at A Passion for Papertry the theme this week was to paper piece your stamped image and this was the only PTI stamp I had that I could actually paper piece but I do love it so I was happy ;) All the products are PTI apart from the border punch which is SU.



I was so pleased with my card I decided to make a matching tag, so I'm going to have two entries in this challenge (way to go!)

Finally Some Crafting :)

I think a girlie night a week or so ago has given me the kick start I needed to get my mojo back and a little me time of course (wink!) I've seen so many of these sweet little bird houses around and promised myself I would make one, one day!




It's actually quite a good size and I imagine it will hold at least four creme eggs or something else yummy. I used a template I found in one of my Magnolia mags, it was really simple to put together too. All the materials are SU but I have a feeling that yellow cardstock is retired although there will be one very similar available.

Well time to go and pick up kiddie wink No.2 from school, thanks for stopping by ;)
