A Gem of a Challenge 2

This week there is a sketch to follow and if you don't own any pink gem stamps there is a FREE digi image for you too! (no excuse not to enter then).

This is my take on the sketch for this week using the FREE digi image.



I've coloured the image using copics, the flowers are papermania paper flowers coloured using copics, the papers are free from a magazine and the card candy and butterfly sentiment are craftwork cards.

Right off to the shops now, need to eat....lol

Turned out OK....

......my card class that is, I had to cancel doing it at the church hall due to the lack of response but ended up with 5 peeps anyway so held it at my house instead and it was a really lovely class:) This is what we made;




3 male themed cards and a gift box. I also did the 2,4,6,8 box as a little extra in Easter colours and filled it with sweets but as usual forgot to take a pic. (clown!) The ladies really enjoyed the class and I had a new lady too (so that was a bonus.)

Right off to watch the final of Dancing On Ice.

Oh No!....

....I just made this card for my son's friend as it's his birthday today only to be informed by my seven year old "mum his names Cameron" aaaah!!!! Only just managed to be able to cover over the wrong name (few!) I was so pleased with it too, showing it off to my boys (looking like a fool....lol) Ah well, all's well that ends well and he probably wont even notice the card just the contents.....lol!




Just realized I can enter this in the challenge over at Stamp With Us as the theme this week is "male cards".

Christening Card

Made this for my cousins little girl Mollie Ann, she gets christened on Sunday and hubby has been asked to be God father (now he thinks he's special.....lol.) I felt a bit out of my depth because for the last few months all I seem to use are SU products and I kind of didn't know where to start but it all came together in the end:) (relief!) The photo was actually part of the invitation (which is no more....lol) I thought it would make a nice keepsake for her.



All products used are DCWV and the ribbon is from my stash, not a mere morsel of SU in site....lol

Well tomorrow I'm off to my son's school for a pamper day "Better Together Day" different people are coming into school to promote what's available in the local community (further education wise) and there's going to be lots of beauty and nicety's going on and lunch too (woohoo!) Well hope you're all looking forward to the weekend and have a good one too!
